Great day today. Krista, director of Doulos, gave us an informative orientation where we learned all about education in the DR and how their mission meets crucial needs. Best orientation to a week of service that I have ever experienced.

More Hearts played this afternoon with free time.

Tonight we went to worship. Super passionate and expressive music. Dancing in the aisles. It was a blast. The pastor had a translator for us and spoke a good message on prayer.

Dinner of Sancocho tonight, traditional DR fare provided from a Dominican grandma. Yum! And fresh juice!

Big team game of Spoons tonight. Mr Dresback and I represented the Staff well by going to the final three. Mr. D won after a final square off against Jimmy!
